Glide Capital is an Alternative Investments Platform that enables wealth managers to efficiently build and manage their own portfolios of alternative investments. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Paralegal with experience in fund structures and SEC compliance to support our legal and compliance functions.
If you have a strong background in financial regulations, legal documentation, and investment fund structures, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and fast-paced investment firm.
Key Responsibilities
1- Legal & Compliance Support
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining fund formation documents, offering memoranda, and subscription agreements.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, including filing and reporting requirements.
• Monitor and update compliance policies in accordance with investment regulations.
• Liaise with external legal counsel to manage fund structuring, regulatory filings, and compliance matters.
2- Fund Structuring & Regulatory Compliance
• Support legal structuring of investment funds across private equity, private credit, and real estate.
• Conduct research on financial regulations, securities laws, and investor compliance requirements.
• Assist in due diligence processes related to fund investments and regulatory matters.
3- Corporate Governance & Documentation
• Maintain corporate records, contracts, and legal documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and investor disclosures.
• Collaborate with outside legal counsel to ensure compliance with best practices and evolving regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in alternative investments, private funds, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures and SEC compliance regulations.
• Experience with private equity, hedge funds, or investment management legal work.
• Familiarity with legal documentation, due diligence, and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual: English required; Spanish preferred.
