Part-Time | Remote | Ecommerce & DTC Focus
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled UX/UI Ecommerce Designer to elevate our digital shopping experience and drive conversion through exceptional design and strategic customer journeys.
This role requires a strong blend of creative design talent, brand elevation expertise, data-driven thinking, and hands-on ecommerce experience, particularly with Shopify Plus, Rebuy, and Klaviyo, Figma expertise, and current ecommerce UX/CRO best practices.
Responsibilities
UX/UI Design & Customer Journey Optimization
- Own end-to-end design for ecommerce experiences across web and mobile.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, layout systems, and high-fidelity UI for PDPs, PLPs, navigation, cart/checkout flows, and custom landing pages.
- Apply ecommerce UX best practices to drive increased conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop user-friendly layouts using brand guidelines and CRO principles.
- Conduct UX audits to identify friction points and conversion opportunities.
Rebuy Personalization
- Design and optimize Rebuy widgets (cart cross-sells, post-purchase flows, smart bundles, recommendations).
- Partner with developers and merchandisers to implement new Rebuy experiences and experiments.
- Ensure all personalization surfaces follow UX/UI and merchandising best practices.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Work closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, and Development teams.
- Translate business goals and briefs into high-impact design solutions.
- Partner with developers to ensure accurate build execution including Design QA
- Present concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Ability to change direction and priorities on the fly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience in DTC ecommerce.
- Portfolio showing ecommerce design, mobile-first layouts, and CRO-focused work.
- Hands-on experience designing or configuring Rebuy widgets or similar personalization modules.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo design or similar platform
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (required
- Understanding of Shopify ecosystem and responsive design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Shopify themes
- Asana
- Experience designing for loyalty and review programs (Yotpo Rewards and Reviews a plus).

Schedule
16/20 hours per week
Monday through Wednesday 9 AM until 1 PM and the rest of the hours can be flexible. (Est time)
