As a fast-growing DTC brand, we are now expanding our footprint in wholesale and online marketplaces. We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth in these channels and take Sunday Citizen to the next level.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a keen, hungry, and ambitious sales leader with 5-6 years of experience in wholesale and marketplaces. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue, securing new retail partnerships, and optimizing marketplace sales. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to scale a high-growth brand.
Key Responsibilities
Wholesale Expansion: Identify, pitch, and onboard new retail partners, including department stores, boutiques, and specialty retailers.
Account Management: Build strong relationships with existing and new wholesale accounts to maximize sales, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless execution.
Marketplaces Growth: Oversee strategy and performance on third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Wayfair, Nordstrom, etc.), ensuring optimal listings, pricing, and promotions.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth across wholesale and marketplaces.
Trend & Data Analysis: Monitor market trends, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies to optimize performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align inventory, pricing, and promotional efforts.
Sales Targets & Reporting: Set and achieve sales KPIs, providing regular reports and insights on performance and opportunities.
Trade Shows & Events: Represent Sunday Citizen at industry trade shows, networking events, and sales meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
5-6 years of experience in wholesale, marketplace sales, or B2B sales in a home, lifestyle, or fashion brand.
Proven track record of scaling wholesale and marketplace revenue streams.
Strong network and relationships with key retail buyers and marketplace contacts.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling brands.
Highly analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with CRM tools, e-commerce platforms, and marketplace management tools.
