About Glide:
Glide Platform LLC is an Alternative Investments Platform that provides a solution for wealth managers to create their own portfolio of alternative investments, or structure their own deals in an efficient way. The Onboarding Associate will work closely with the Director of Operations and have the opportunity to build foundational processes and grow with the firm.
Glide Platform, LLC is looking for an Onboarding Associate to join the Operations Team and manage the end-to-end onboarding of clients and fund structures. The role is central to the investor experience and requires close coordination with custodian banks, legal counsel, compliance, and internal teams.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
3+ years of experience in client onboarding, fund operations, or financial services (alternative investments preferred)
Strong understanding of custodian bank relationships, account opening procedures, and AML/KYC requirements
Familiarity with fund structures (Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, Venture Capital) and fund administration
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with CRM or onboarding platforms a
plus
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client workflows simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface directly with clients and institutional counterparties
Possess personal qualities of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Ability to work independently and continuously improve onboarding processes
Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Preferably Bilingual (English–Spanish) – strong English required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the full client onboarding lifecycle: from initial documentation collection through account activation and first investment
Coordinate account opening with custodian banks and prime brokers, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and submitted on time
Perform bank account reconciliation and ensure all client accounts are properly established and funded
Conduct and oversee KYC/AML reviews for new investors, including collection of subscription documents, entity formation documents, W-8/W-9 forms, and beneficial ownership information
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, providing timely updates and resolving queries
Liaise with fund administrators, legal counsel, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met
Maintain and update the onboarding tracker with real-time status of all new client accounts
Draft and send client welcome communications, wire instructions, and account confirmation
notices
Coordinate Capital Call and Distribution notices for newly onboarded investors
Monitor and escalate outstanding documentation or compliance items to ensure timely completion
Assist with periodic reviews and refresh of KYC/AML documentation for existing investors
Work with the Operations and Accounting teams to ensure seamless handoff post-onboarding
and accurate NAV reporting
Support audit and regulatory requests related to client accounts and onboarding records
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the onboarding experience and reduce
turnaround time
