About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist to support the day-to-day merchandising of our ecommerce store.
You'll own product setup, site presentation, and catalog accuracy while working closely with buying, marketing, and operations to drive sales and deliver a seamless shopping experience.
This role suits someone with a few years of ecommerce or retail merchandising experience who's ready to take ownership of their work and contribute to the commercial performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain product listings, ensuring accurate titles, descriptions, imagery, pricing, and attributes across the site.
Merchandise category and landing pages, managing product sequencing, filters, and on-site placement to maximize conversion.
Monitor product performance (sell-through, bestsellers, slow movers) and recommend actions such as promotions, markdowns, or re-merchandising.
Support the planning and execution of promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns, coordinating timing with marketing.
Maintain catalog data integrity, auditing listings for errors, broken links, out-of-stocks, and incorrect pricing.
Pull and analyze weekly sales and site reports; share insights and trends with the merchandising team.
Partner with buying and inventory teams to flag stock issues and ensure availability aligns with demand.
Conduct competitor and market research to inform assortment, pricing, and merchandising decisions.
Assist with content coordination, working with photography and copy teams to ensure assets are ready for launch.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, online retail, or a related role.
Hands-on experience with an ecommerce platform (Shopify experience strongly preferred), Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar.
Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills; comfortable working with data and reports.
Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Understanding of key ecommerce and merchandising metrics, including conversion rate, AOV, and sell-through.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Experience working with DTC ecommerce brands.
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, or similar).
Familiarity with SEO best practices for product and category pages.
Experience with PIM or DAM systems.
Experience working with consumer products, home goods, lifestyle, or apparel brands.
