Remote · Full-time · US business hours (Eastern Time) · Reports to the Head of Amazon · Two positions open
About Us
We are a US-based eCommerce and print-on-demand apparel business operating since 2007. We design, produce, and sell our own branded apparel — including tees, hoodies, sweaters, pajamas, baby and toddler wear, and matching family sets — through our own production and fulfillment facility in Miami, Florida.
Two things make our business different:
We make what we sell. In-house production gives us control over lead times and allows us to react quickly to demand and launch new designs in days rather than months.
Our catalog is event-driven. Christmas, Halloween, Father's Day, Mother's Day, and the 4th of July drive a significant portion of our volume alongside an evergreen base. Success requires planning against a calendar, hitting narrow selling windows, and managing inventory accordingly.
We sell across Amazon US, Amazon Canada, Walmart Marketplace, and TikTok Shop, managing a large multi-thousand-SKU catalog. We also hold licensed IP partnerships with major entertainment and collegiate brands.
Our team works with an internal BI system, Slack, and AI tools integrated into our daily workflow.
The Role
We are hiring two Category Managers to own defined portfolios of our eCommerce catalog and be accountable for their product-level performance.
You will work within the strategy and framework established by the Head of Amazon, partnering with PPC, Creative, Production, and Planning to execute and improve results.
This is not a Head of Amazon or overall brand-strategy role. Your job is to know your portfolio's numbers, identify where performance is falling short, and execute the actions needed to improve it.
You will be measured on outcomes such as:
Contribution profit — revenue after COGS, marketplace fees, and ad spend
TACOS and advertising efficiency
Organic rank and sales velocity
Conversion rate and sessions
Seasonal sell-through
Listing and marketplace health
Product-level performance across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and TikTok Shop
If you are comfortable being measured on business results rather than tasks completed, this role may be a strong fit.
What You Will Do
Own product-level performance across Amazon US, Amazon Canada, Walmart Marketplace, and TikTok Shop, including traffic, conversion, ranking, margin, and inventory.
Pull and analyze your own data from our internal BI system and marketplace reporting.
Monitor sales, sessions, conversion, Search Query Performance, advertising performance, returns, and profitability.
Optimize Amazon listings end to end — titles, bullets, descriptions, backend search terms, A+ Content, images, and image briefs.
Build and execute keyword strategies designed to improve organic rank on terms that convert.
Use pricing, coupons, promotions, and deals strategically, with margin math behind your decisions.
Plan seasonal events backwards from peak dates, including launches, quantities, keywords, and budgets.
Work closely with PPC on campaign structure, budgets, bids, and advertising priorities.
Partner with Creative on new designs, imagery, and product launches.
Feed demand signals to Planning and Production so the right units are produced at the right time.
Monitor competitors, category trends, customer reviews, and returns.
Handle listing, variation, and compliance issues with Amazon Seller Support and Account Managers.
Monitor and optimize product performance on Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop.
Ensure licensed products remain compliant with brand and marketplace requirements.
Use AI tools to accelerate research, copy drafting, and analysis while applying judgment to their output.
Your First 90 Days
Days 1–30: Learn your portfolio, understand the cost structure, production lead times, and event calendar, and identify where performance is being left on the table.
Days 31–60: Execute listing, pricing, and conversion improvements on priority products and build your first plan for the next major seasonal event.
Days 61–90: Independently run your portfolio review and deliver a fully costed plan for the next major event, including products, quantities, keywords, budget, and expected return.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
3+ years of hands-on Amazon Private Label experience, owning product-level performance rather than simply executing someone else's instructions.
Deep fluency in Amazon Seller Central, including listings, variations, flat files, cases, Brand Registry, and A+ Content.
Demonstrated ability to improve organic rank, conversion, and profitability, with specific numbers you can explain.
Strong understanding of unit economics and contribution margin.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivots, lookups, reporting, and basic modeling.
Working knowledge of Amazon PPC and how advertising, ranking, and organic sales interact.
Experience with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, or similar tools, and Amazon Search Query Performance.
Comfortable working directly from BI dashboards and independently pulling and analyzing your own data.
Working familiarity with Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop, with the ability to manage product-level performance across both channels.
Active use of AI tools in your day-to-day work.
Excellent written English and clear asynchronous communication skills.
Availability to work full US business hours (Eastern Time).
Strong ownership mentality — you identify and surface problems before someone needs to ask.
Strong Plus
Apparel, print-on-demand, seasonal, or gifting experience.
Amazon Canada experience.
Deeper hands-on Walmart Marketplace and/or TikTok Shop experience.
Experience with licensed or branded IP.
Hands-on PPC campaign management.
SQL or experience querying sales databases directly.
This Role Is Probably Not for You If
You have managed listings but have never been accountable for product-level revenue, profit, or performance.
You rely on someone else to pull and organize your data before you can analyze a problem.
You are looking for a Head of Amazon role responsible for defining the company's overall strategy. This Category Manager role focuses on executing and owning product-level performance within an established framework.
What We Offer
Ownership of a meaningful portfolio within an established, profitable eCommerce business.
Direct and visible impact on revenue and profit.
In-house production, allowing successful ideas to reach the market quickly.
Compensation package discussed directly with candidates during the process.
Fully remote work, five days per week, during US Eastern business hours.
On-time monthly payment and paid vacation.
A modern operating stack including internal BI, Slack, and AI tools.
An experienced international team across eCommerce, data, production, and creative.
Shortlisted candidates will complete a short unpaid analysis task on a live product before the final interview.
