Salary: $52,000–$62,000 annually, depending on experience

The Ivey’s Hotel is a 47-room luxury boutique hotel in Charlotte. We are seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily execution of our housekeeping operation. This person will keep rooms ready on schedule while maintaining the meticulous cleanliness and presentation our guests expect.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable both developing a team and stepping in to help when needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily assignments based on departures, arrivals, stayovers, and priority check-ins.

• Track room progress throughout the day and adjust assignments to meet check-in deadlines.

• Inspect completed rooms for cleanliness, presentation, linens, amenities, and maintenance issues before they are released to guests.

• Supervise, train, and coach room attendants and other housekeeping staff.

• Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance teams on room status, delays, and repairs.

• Oversee housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and the cleanliness of assigned public areas.

• Support the team directly when needed while remaining accountable for overall quality and timing.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping supervisory experience.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities throughout the day.

• A consistent eye for detail and high standards for room cleanliness and presentation.

• Experience training, coaching, and holding team members accountable.

• Ability to communicate clearly with housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance staff.

• Experience at an upscale or luxury hotel is preferred.

• English and Spanish bilingual ability is preferred, especially for communicating with and training the housekeeping team.

Compensation is targeted at $52,000–$62,000 annually, with some flexibility for an exceptional candidate who can take full ownership of the department’s daily execution.
