VP / Director of Operations
GLIDE | North Miami Beach, Florida
Work arrangement: On-site — this role requires working from GLIDE’s office in North Miami Beach and is not remote.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Compensation: Base salary + company performance bonus + individual performance bonus
Language: Fluent English required; English-Spanish bilingual strongly preferred

GLIDE is an alternative investments platform that enables wealth managers to build portfolios of alternative investments or structure their own deals efficiently. The platform spans Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital, supporting a large and growing number of portfolios across jurisdictions.
About the Role
We are seeking a senior operations leader with 10+ years of experience in alternative fund accounting, fund operations, or fund administration.
Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead and grow the Operations team and take ownership of fund operations, NAV oversight, investor servicing, tax reporting coordination, audits, and compliance monitoring across GLIDE’s portfolios.
You will work closely with the Director of Accounting, executive team, fund administrator, auditors, and tax preparers to build the processes, controls, systems, and team needed to support the company’s next stage of growth.
The position will be appointed at the Director or Vice President level, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Recruit, develop, and mentor the Operations team.
Define team roles, responsibilities, and performance standards as the business grows.
Partner with senior leadership on cross-jurisdictional initiatives, new products, and expansion.
Fund Accounting & Reporting
Own the monthly and quarterly NAV process across all portfolios, ensuring strong controls, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Oversee month-end close and financial statement preparation in partnership with the Director of Accounting.
Coordinate the annual tax reporting cycle with external tax preparers, ensuring timely and accurate K-1 delivery.
Lead annual audits across all portfolios and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
Fund & Investor Operations
Manage the fund administrator relationship, including service levels, data delivery, and review of NAVs and reporting.
Oversee client onboarding, investments, capital calls, and distributions.
Monitor compliance with fund documents, investment restrictions, and regulatory obligations.
Serve as the escalation point for complex client requests and operational issues.
Processes, Controls & Systems
Design scalable processes, internal controls, and risk frameworks that reduce errors and support growth.
Lead technology initiatives that improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in fund accounting, fund operations, or fund administration.
At least three years of experience leading and developing teams.
Significant hands-on accounting experience with alternative investment funds, including NAV calculations, annual audits, and financial statement preparation.
Strong working familiarity with K-1s and partnership tax reporting; direct preparation of K-1s is not required.
Deep knowledge of fund structures, including master-feeder structures, SPVs, and multi-jurisdictional vehicles.
Strong understanding of the fund administration model.
Experience managing relationships with fund administrators, auditors, tax preparers, custodians, and legal counsel.
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Expert-level Excel skills.
Fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications
Active CPA designation.
English-Spanish bilingual.
Experience across Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital.

Strong candidates may come from:
Alternative asset managers, with experience as a Fund Controller, Director of Fund Accounting, or VP of Fund Operations.
Fund administrators, with experience leading fund accounting teams or managing substantial client portfolios.
Alternatives platforms or multi-family offices, with experience building operations processes and teams.
Audit firms’ asset management practices, followed by several years of in-house fund operations leadership.
Experience should extend beyond audit-only work or NAV preparation to include team leadership and management of external providers.
