About the Company
Our client is a Salesforce implementation partner serving U.S.-based clients across legal, accounting, financial services, nonprofit, life sciences, and commerce.
The company designs, builds, and scales revenue and operations platforms on Salesforce and is incorporating AI-assisted workflows into its consulting and development practices.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to build reliable, maintainable Salesforce solutions for U.S. client engagements.
You will translate technical requirements and solution designs into working implementations, developing custom functionality, automation, and integrations. You will work closely with technical leads, architects, administrators, and other developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Salesforce development skills, takes ownership of assigned work, and can solve technical problems independently while recognizing when to seek input or escalate risks.
Responsibilities
Develop Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processes, and Lightning Web Components.
Implement data models, object relationships, validation rules, and Salesforce Flow automation.
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
Follow development practices that account for governor limits, bulk processing, security, performance, and maintainability.
Work with technical leads and architects to translate solution designs into working functionality.
Clarify requirements, identify implementation dependencies, and flag technical risks early.
Participate in code reviews and apply feedback constructively.
Write meaningful automated tests and support QA, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
Prepare and deploy changes through established version control, sandbox, and release management processes.
Maintain technical documentation, including implementation notes, integration specifications, and deployment instructions.
Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly to the delivery team.
Participate in client meetings when needed, supporting technical discussions alongside the lead or architect.
Requirements
Demonstrated hands-on Salesforce development experience, with the ability to independently deliver substantial features and integrations.
Strong Apex development skills, including automated testing, debugging, bulkification, and governor-limit-aware development.
Solid experience building Lightning Web Components.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, object relationships, platform security, and declarative automation.
Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, and appropriate error handling.
Experience working across development, testing, deployment, and technical handoff.
Familiarity with Git, Salesforce CLI/Salesforce DX, and sandbox management.
Working proficiency in English sufficient to understand requirements and documentation, collaborate with the team, and communicate progress and blockers.
A practical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to understand the business purpose behind technical requirements.
Ability to manage assigned work independently, meet commitments, and raise issues proactively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Salesforce implementation partner, consulting firm, or systems integrator.
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
Experience with middleware or integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Zapier.
Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud.
Experience integrating Salesforce with platforms such as HubSpot, ChurnZero, Maxio, or Gong.
Experience with data migration tools such as Data Loader or Dataloader.io.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
Experience working with U.S. clients and distributed teams.
What Success Looks Like
Assigned features and integrations are delivered with reliable, maintainable code.
Testing and documentation support effective handoff and ongoing maintenance.
Technical risks and blockers are communicated early.
Deployments follow established processes and receive appropriate validation.
The team can rely on you to own development tasks without close day-to-day supervision.
