The company designs, builds, and scales revenue and operations platforms on Salesforce and is incorporating AI-assisted workflows into its consulting and development practices.
About the Role
We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead to lead the technical delivery of complex Salesforce implementations while remaining actively involved in development.
You will work directly with U.S. clients, guide other developers, make technical design decisions, and oversee complex deployments. Working with delivery leadership and architects where assigned, you will translate business needs into practical solutions and ensure the team delivers high-quality implementations.
The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce development expertise with client-facing communication, technical judgment, and the ability to supervise and support other developers.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development
Lead technical execution across Salesforce engagements involving Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related integrations.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, development tasks, estimates, and implementation plans.
Design and develop complex functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and appropriate integration patterns.
Make technical decisions covering data models, automation, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with architects on broader solution architecture and take ownership of implementation-level design.
Identify dependencies and technical risks, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend practical solutions.
Remain hands-on with complex development, integrations, debugging, and production issue resolution.
Client Communication & Consulting
Lead technical discovery sessions and solution discussions with U.S. client stakeholders.
Clarify business objectives, challenge assumptions constructively, and identify requirements that affect delivery.
Explain technical options, constraints, and trade-offs in clear business language.
Communicate progress, blockers, technical risks, and the impact of requirement changes.
Work with delivery leadership to align technical commitments with scope, priorities, and available resources.
Lead technical demonstrations and support client acceptance and handoff.
Developer Supervision & Quality
Supervise and coordinate the technical work of other Salesforce developers.
Break down work, review estimates, and provide clear implementation guidance.
Review code and technical designs for quality, security, performance, and consistency.
Mentor developers, provide actionable feedback, and resolve technical blockers.
Maintain development, testing, and documentation standards.
Take ownership of the technical quality of the team’s deliverables.
Deployments & Release Management
Plan and execute complex deployments involving multiple developers, environments, integrations, and dependencies.
Coordinate version control, sandbox management, release sequencing, and deployment readiness.
Define validation steps, post-deployment checks, and rollback approaches.
Ensure meaningful automated testing and support QA and user acceptance testing.
Lead the investigation and resolution of deployment failures and complex production issues.
Maintain technical specifications, integration documentation, and deployment runbooks.
Requirements
At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Demonstrated experience as a Technical Lead or in an equivalent role involving developer supervision, client communication, technical design, and deployment ownership.
Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, data modeling, and platform security.
Experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, appropriate authentication, and robust error handling.
Strong understanding of governor limits, bulk processing, asynchronous execution, and platform performance considerations.
Experience making solution design decisions and explaining the reasoning and trade-offs behind them.
Experience reviewing code, mentoring developers, and coordinating technical execution.
Experience planning and executing complex deployments using Git, Salesforce CLI/Salesforce DX, and structured release management processes.
Strong professional English, written and spoken, with the ability to independently lead technical discussions with U.S. clients.
A consultative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
Ability to balance hands-on development with delegation, technical oversight, and client communication.
Strong ownership of delivery commitments, technical quality, and proactive risk management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Salesforce implementation partner, consulting firm, or systems integrator.
Salesforce Platform Developer II or relevant Salesforce Architect certifications.
Experience leading technical work across multiple concurrent client engagements.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce release management tools.
Experience with middleware such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms.
Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud.
Experience planning data migrations and coordinating complex integration dependencies.
Experience integrating Salesforce with platforms such as HubSpot, ChurnZero, Maxio, or Gong.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
Experience working with U.S. clients and distributed development teams.
What Success Looks Like
Clients trust you to lead technical discussions and recommend sound solutions.
Developers have clear direction, useful feedback, and timely support.
