About FirstLight Home Care
FirstLight Home Care is a U.S.-based home care company dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that helps individuals and families live better every day.
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and highly communicative Remote Recruiter based in Latin America to support our caregiver hiring operations in the United States.
About the Role
As a Remote Healthcare Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for caregiver positions, from the moment candidates submit their applications through screening, interviews, hiring coordination, and onboarding.
Most applications will come through Indeed, so your primary focus will be managing incoming candidates, conducting effective screenings, maintaining consistent follow-up, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
This is a high-volume recruiting role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organization, persistence, and the ability to engage candidates and effectively present job opportunities.
Previous healthcare recruiting experience is not required. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience recruiting for high-volume or high-turnover industries.
Over time, there may also be opportunities to contribute to improving job postings, candidate attraction, and overall recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment process for caregiver positions, from initial application through onboarding.
Review and screen incoming applications, primarily through Indeed.
Handle an estimated 10–20 new applications per day while managing an ongoing candidate pipeline.
Conduct initial phone or video screening interviews to assess qualifications, availability, communication skills, and overall suitability.
Clearly explain the company, job responsibilities, expectations, and opportunities to prospective candidates.
Coordinate interviews with the U.S.-based hiring team and ensure candidates are prepared for the next steps.
Maintain consistent follow-up with applicants, including candidates who have stopped responding or have incomplete applications.
Guide candidates through required documentation, background checks, and onboarding steps in coordination with the appropriate team.
Keep candidate records, recruitment stages, and communications accurate and up to date.
Track recruitment activity and identify bottlenecks or opportunities to improve candidate conversion.
Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process.
As the role evolves, support improvements to Indeed job postings and recruiting processes.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in high-volume hiring environments.
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, with the confidence to interview and engage U.S.-based candidates.
Experience managing candidates throughout multiple stages of the recruitment process.
Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills.
Ability to effectively present job opportunities, build rapport, and keep candidates engaged.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple applications, interviews, and follow-ups simultaneously.
Familiarity with Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), or similar recruitment platforms.
Comfortable using recruiting software, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools.
Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
College or university degree strongly preferred.
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting for high-volume or high-turnover industries such as staffing, hospitality, retail, logistics, or customer service.
Previous experience recruiting for U.S.-based companies.
Healthcare, home care, or caregiver recruitment experience.
Experience using Indeed to manage applications and candidate pipelines.
Experience coordinating background checks, hiring documentation, and onboarding processes.
Familiarity with recruitment metrics and candidate conversion rates.
Working Conditions
Location: Fully remote, Latin America.
Employment: Full-time.
Schedule: U.S. business hours, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (time zone to be confirmed).
Holidays: U.S. holiday calendar.
Paid Time Off: PTO benefits aligned with company policy.
Compensation: USD 2,000–3,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
Growth Opportunities: Potential future compensation increases, bonuses, and expanded recruiting responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys recruiting, communicating with people, and helping candidates move successfully through the hiring process.
The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, personable, and comfortable managing a continuous flow of applications without losing track of details.
